Prudential Individual Life Insurance names Jill Perlin Vice President, Advanced Markets

NEWARK, N.J., March 21, 2016 - Jill Perlin has been named vice president of Advanced Markets for Prudential Individual Life Insurance, a business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:PRU).

Perlin will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the day-to-day operations of the Advanced Markets team, which provides forward-thinking, sophisticated support to Prudential’s distribution partners and their producers. Perlin, based in Newark, will report to Todd Shriber, vice president, Life Distribution and Sales.

“Jill’s background and expertise, leadership skills, passion for developing talent and ability to build deep relationships with key constituents, make her a perfect fit to lead the Advanced Markets team,” Shriber said. “Her deep experience with other Prudential businesses will also serve her well in her new role.”

Perlin’s new job brings her back to her roots at Prudential. She joined the company’s individual life insurance business in 1987 as a marketing associate and spent the next decade rising through positions of increasing responsibility. She then moved to the corporate tax department where she built Prudential’s Tax Education unit and later to the annuities business where she led the development of the Advanced Markets function. Most recently, she was vice president, investment solutions for the retail annuities business.

Perlin is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds several professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter.
