David Durning is President and Chief Executive Officer of PGIM Real Estate Finance, responsible for overseeing PGIM’s global commercial real estate finance and agriculture investment businesses.

In addition to his investment management business responsibilities, Mr. Durning is a member of PGIM’s Investment and Risk Management Committees. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the CRE Finance Council and the Executive Board of the National Multifamily Housing Council. Mr. Durning is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the CFA Institute.

Since joining Prudential in 1988, Mr. Durning has assumed increased responsibility in various roles throughout the real estate and mortgage investment units. Most recently, he was Senior Managing Director, overseeing the company’s agency lending businesses and loan production globally. Prior to joining Prudential, he was an associate in the Chemical Bank structured lending group after completing the bank’s credit training program.

Mr. Durning received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
