Jeffrey T. Becker is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison Associates in October 2016. Prior to joining Jennison, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Voya Investment Management (formerly ING US Investment Management), the asset management subsidiary of Voya Financial. While at Voya, Becker was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Voya’s asset management business, including institutional, retail funds, retirement, and proprietary portfolio segments. From 2009 to 2013, he was the Chief Executive Officer of ING Investment Management Americas and prior to that, he held various executive positions with the firm including Vice Chairman, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. From 1998 until 2002, Becker was Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of Aeltus Investment Management (which was owned by Aetna and acquired by ING). Prior to joining Aeltus, he was Chief Credit Officer for Aetna’s Real Estate Investment Group. Before joining Aetna in 1994, Becker was a senior manager in Arthur Andersen’s financial consulting practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colgate University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, DC, sits on the AmeriCares Board of Directors, and is a member of the Institutional Investor’s U.S. Institute.
