Prudential has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute®, a leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, for the sixth straight year.
“I am proud that we have once again been recognized as a company that lives up to its purpose and delivers on its promises,” said Prudential Chairman and CEO Charles Lowrey. “This honor validates our commitment to always conduct business the right way, keeping the interests of our customers above all else.”
In selecting the World’s Most Ethical Companies, Ethisphere performs a rigorous evaluation of each company’s ethics and compliance program, culture, corporate citizenship, governance, and reputation. Of the 132 companies chosen, Prudential was one of only five in the financial services sector.
“Our commitment to integrity is reinforced by our governance structure, including our company policies and our Code of Conduct, Making the Right Choices PDF opens in a new window ,” said Executive Vice President and General Counsel Tim Harris. “But the most important factor is the dedication of Prudential’s employees, who demonstrate a personal commitment to hold themselves to the highest ethical standards in their everyday actions.”
