Lorelei McIntyre-Brewer is among 10 middle and high school students named the top youth volunteers of the year at Prudential’s 22^nd annual Spirit of Community Awards in Washington, D.C. The ceremony was part of a four-day event, where the top two youth volunteers from each state and the District of Columbia came to the nation’s capital to be recognized for their acts of community service.

Prudential’s support of volunteerism has resulted in employees donating more than 69,000 hours of service in 2016, an increase of 36 percent over the prior year. Last year alone, Prudential’s volunteerism resulted in nearly $1 million in value to communities.

Newark, N.J., has welcomed back its iconic Hahne & Co. Building, which sat abandoned for nearly three decades, thanks to a $174 million redevelopment project.

NEWARK, N.J., December 05, 2015 - Prudential Financial, Inc. today announced an $870,000 commitment to the El Paso, Texas community. With this investment, Prudential will provide human and financial resources to create a skilled math and technology workforce, specifically targeting Latino students, veterans and military spouses.
