Distance makes the heart grow fonder, or at least that’s been my experience after relocating to the Pacific Northwest during the pandemic. I started my career at Prudential nearly 10 years ago and I’d often get to the office in Newark, New Jersey, using the Newark Light Rail, passing key landmarks along the way. Now that I’m a fully virtual employee and my commuting days are behind me, I find myself missing this bustling city.
My FOMO kicked in even more when I learned that Prudential’s Inclusive Solutions group had hosted guided tours this fall to acquaint (or reacquaint) employees with Newark. Fortunately, anyone can take the virtual tour below, to learn the many ways Newark has transformed into a vibrant urban center and learn about Prudential’s deep ties to its headquarters city.
